Dragon Boat and the surrounding restaurants aren’t easy to find. They’re in an area you wouldn’t expect restaurants to typically be, like the adage hidden in plain sight.

Our first impression fell flat as the baht poh waitress bugged us numerous times before we were ready to order and when we ordered haughtily exhaled “You’re only going to order 3 dishes?” Why? Do we get a free fifth dish if we order four?

In a seeming race to eat at all the AYCE sushi joints, Tanaka comes in at Number 4. Tanaka is classic mom and pop and children run restaurant. You can expect higher quality execution at mom and pop or at least care in execution but the negative is that they watch the money closely.  fAnd that was the case. We felt we were scrutinized by them as we put in each additional order of food. They set a 1.5 hour time limit to dine. AYCE really kills them. They don't want John Pinette dining here.
