Richmond Court is one of the few restaurants that stays open late in Richmond Hill. The locals know it and make use. It's Hong Kong style.
What exactly do they add to make the beef so tender? Do they also pound the meat? Great wok hay flavor.
Beef Tendon Mein. Soft textured tendons always make my day. The tendon wasn't as flavorful and spicy as I had anticipated but the texture was pleasing. Dousing the mein with the broth made it even more enjoyable.
Cheung Fun Cruller. It's carb overload. Put aside Atkins for the evening and enjoy this very good rendition. Thin cheung fun with a less than super crispy cruller still is a delight. The peanut sauce isn't up to par, too salty and not enough peanutty taste.
