The waitress hovered over us for our order like a buzzard awaiting a dying animal’s last gasp of breath. Be patient. Let the customer determine the pace, not you. And never question how much a customer does or does not order.

Chicken Chow Fun and Beef Curry.  The Chow Fun had wok hay but absent salt and seasoning. Greasy. The cook was dozing. The Curry was competitive but light on the protein.

We also had a dish of Fried Rice. It was like a Westerner’s first attempt at fried rice with overcooked riced.

In the competitive GTA, a restaurant can't afford to make mistakes. There were two major mistakes here.  Billy's is a definite no return. I predict they won't be around for long unless they change their current direction.
