It's gloomy with an almost sullen atmosphere duplicated by the service. Akabane feels forlorn.
Calamari and Fried Capelin. The Capelin is a favored item from other AYCE places but alas here were dry and lacking the desirable fish eggs.
Salmon collars became another favorite food item but here, it was lackluster.
I liked the salmon roe but the remain has a less than clean fresh flavor.
I predict a short life for Akabane.
