Walk into the enclosed sidewalk area where the funky foot aroma of sharp provolone greets your nose. That's a reminder to order the much hyped Pork Italian with Broccoli Rabe and Sharp Provolone.

Popeyes #11465 - Philadelphia International Airport PHL

CLOSED 2020(?)

This is the first time at a Popeyes.  I'm excited but have reservations because it's an airport.

How is my first experience at Popeyes?  Does it hold well against KFC?

Legal Sea Foods - Philadelphia International Airport PHL

CLOSED early(?) 2020

Let's get the money question out of the way.  It's expensive because they can get away with it and yet despite the high prices, it is continually busy. I assume the majority of customers have an expense account although I do spot a few families.

Paesano's Philly Style - Philadelphia, PA

CLOSED December 2019

152 W Girard Avenue

The Paesano comprises beef brisket, horseradish mayo, roasted tomatoes, pepperoncino, sharp provolone & fried egg. The beef brisket is tender and moist unlike most other brisket. The horseradish mayo adds a nice pungent creamy textural contrast to the rough textured brisket. I didn't taste much of the runny egg. This is Paesano's version of the Philly Cheesesteak.

Philly Steak & Gyro Co - Philadelphia International Airport PHL

CLOSED  July 2015

Do the flyers know something I don't? Philly Steak & Gyro despite its footprint didn't have a line unlike the other eateries within Terminal B/C Connector. Chick-fil-A next door was queued up crazy.
