This is the first time at a Popeyes. I'm excited but have reservations because it's an airport.
How is my first experience at Popeyes? Does it hold well against KFC?
At $6.99 airport, this is a good value. Combined with the juicy, tender, crunchy, and just right spicy preparation of the chicken, the good ol' boy is right. I enjoy this more than KFC. The biscuit is fairly flaky. The rice and beans are very good, the best beans I've had north of the Mason Dixon.
