Another iPad restaurant, another attempt to reduce labor cost while increasing owner profit. For this morning, the service rates above average given the nice enthusiastic young man serving and cleaning.

Emporio Rulli - San Francisco International Airport SFO

The Onion and Gruyere quiche is meh.The Apple Strudel is much more to my liking with big chunks of apple and fruit and sticky goodness.

The Panettone, the star is less than oven fresh.  It's a little dry yet I can taste the difference between this and other grocery store versions. The candied orange peel reminds of me Christmas fruitcake but it's not fruitcake in texture or taste. I love the crusty top. I would rate it higher if had it fresh.  3 stars.

Coconut macaroons. It has a nice firm chewy texture with a salty sweetness mild coconut taste that's perfectly balanced. They are expensive little things at two for $6, but I got it at an ultimate discount of a gift price.  3.75 stars.
