It is the most modern McDonald's I've seen to this point.  It has no menu board and no open kitchen.  Orders are entered via kiosk only.  I didn't see any cash registers. At least it didn't register with me (see what I did there?).  I thought it was under construction upon entering.

Years ago Hardee's seemed poised to be almost the top dog but something happened and Hardee's faded into the background to be a nonplayer. 

The 1/3 lb Garlic Thick Burger was delicious and so much better than the Clown output.  So if the food is good, did marketing fail?

I walked in with the thought that Jim's is a counter service maybe fast casual small to medium sized establishment. Instead, it's sized about the same as Appleby's.

The waiter tells me they do Alabama style BBQ.  I've had Gibson's in Georgia so my mind automatic synchronizes with that style, right or wrong.

I know better but in my quest to dine nonrepeat, I order here. The pale chicken lacks any evidence seeing stir fry action in a high heat wok. Where's the glistening finish? The broccoli appears overcooked and mushy. The beef seems OK but it also lacks the finishing sheen. The green pepper is a overcooked drab olive instead of a bright brilliant green. I know how this will taste and yet I still order it.
