Woodside Bakery was a fantastic find in a tourist trap where mediocre food rules the norm. It's open from early breakfast to mid afternoons. The staff are tree hugging food co-op types. Hugging, not mugging here.

As I rule, I like DQ and I feel their burgers are usually a few notches above a McDonald's burger but this tourist centric West Yellowstone DQ served burgers that tasted like bland charcoal. I like a charred grilled taste but these tasted nothing like but sprinkled charcoal powder.

Yup, we succumbed to the tourist mentality of staying with what we thought would be safe especially late in the evning and relatively low cost. I should have done my homework because this one is a classic tourist trap three - small portions, expensive, and long lines.

McDonald's #13379 - Billings, MT

The east end of Billings is old and dirty with an industrial refinery like akin to a post apocalyptic zombie zone. Continue on to flesh eater free zone. That would be the central to west end of Billings which seems normal. 

Time for a break and a frosty Soft Serve Cone. It tastes good when hot and sweaty. That's the view looking out the McDonald's parking lot.
