This is the first location as they proudly advertise but it's noted as Store #17 on the business card. What am I missing? Does anyone know the story behind the number?
I had my first Quiznos many moons ago in Omaha. Up to that point, I
never heard of Quiznos but it was love at first bite. The only thing I
didn't like was the tartness thanks to the presence of the vinegar. The
Classic Italian wasn't quite classic but it set a new bar for Italian
subs. When I learned that Quiznos originated in Denver and the original
store is still around, I made a out of the way trek to visit history.
Southern Style Pulled Pork comprises as the menu says "slow-roasted pulled pork, topped with signature BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, mozzarella & cheddar cheeses, and pickles." The pickles made the ensemble too tart. The cheese didn't create a satisfying treat. The pork is tender but bland to a fault. Overall, doesn't work. I think I should have ordered the Classic Italian but something tells me it isn't the same quality of yesteryear.
One more food must do item on the list checked off.
