Slice occupies the building that formerly housed Arby's. This is a less than optimal location for a fast food joint and I fear the less than optimal location may spell the doom of Sliced too soon. If Sliced shutters, it won't be because of the food because the food I had today is tasty good for under $5.
Smoked Brisket Sandwich comprises smokehouse brisket, gouda cheese, onion strings, mayo, barbecue sauce, and I believe also a few fries. This is certainly not a cookie cutter sandwich but one in which the assembler put some time and heart into it to make it right. Yes, the brisket is cut too thin for a meat eater but it is still delicious. Everything worked in this sandwich. Meaty, tender, sweet, savory, with a next textural contrast of ingredients. My only complaint is that it disappeared too quickly. If you're hungry, the portion you get won't be enough so order two and help keep the business alive.
