After walking the mile of Terminal A in search of something that would pop out, I circled back here. I didn't stop in initially as after reading the menu, the offerings seemed Americanized Mediterranean. When the menu lists gyros and schawarma but only with chicken or beef and not lamb, it leaves me lukewarm.
Falafel Wrap. It tasted like assembly line food, unlovingly prepared. The falafels were fried well in advance and arrived lukewarm. The falafels were quite good with a nutty taste but small. The tzatziki provided needed tang and zest. The pita was just a holder and on the cusp between fresh and stale. The fries were the best item on the plate, hot, crunchy crusty bumpy exterior, and a fluffy inside.
The waitress was an old pro knowing how to serve hurried travelers. Inside the check folder was a slip of paper written in multiple languages that it is customary to tip 18 to 20% for good service. I believe that was directed to the Japanese where in Japan, tipping is an insult.
