Taberna Express - Phoenix International Airport PHX

CLOSED 2018(?).  Modernization of Terminal 3.

I initially stop in on the dine-in side but depart when a customer sitting at a table speaks up and said she had been waiting 10 minutes for someone to take her order.  I leave and go to the Express side.

Breakfast Burrito. The ordering is fast and efficient.  The pick up took only a few minutes as fast food should.  The burrito is hefty and sizable only slightly smaller than a typical Chipotle burrito.  The red chili oil from the chirozo drains out one end of the burrito,  Either that or the oil slopped over as the assembler ladled the chorizo onto the tortilla.

The burrito lacks seasoning so I slather on the accompanying salsa. The salsa makes the difference between a sustenance burrito and an enjoyable burrito.  The burrito is overpriced at $10 but saved by the great salsa.

The cashier is in good spirits and accommodating.
