The Roast Beef lists on the sandwich menu board at $5.50. It is a few dollars less than the hot foods but seeing the large staff hustling, I concluded the sandwiches had to be decent. The server behind the counter wrote my order and handed me the check to pay the cashier. After a couple minutes, a person came out calling my number and I was handed a brown paper bag. What? I expect a platter but am handed a plastic wrapped sandwich?
The roast beef is dry and bland and the Caper sauce is the only thing giving it moistness and flavor. The roll is even dryer with a starchy stale refrigerated taste and texture.
If I want a vending machine quality sandwich, I would stop at a vending machine or gas station, not an establishment where I put in a order at a counter with an expectation of a fresh made to order sandwich. I despise this more than Big Town Hero at the other end of the terminal.
