This was my second stop here. The first time wasn't favorable but I decided to give La Tapenade another shot as I'm quickly learning refrigerated cold sandwiches stale quickly, even those prepared at higher quality eateries, and are only a notch better than vending machine sandwiches. I wanted a healthier choice and decided to stop here because they do have healthier choices.
Lime Chicken Ciabatta comprises marinated chicken, brie, caramelized red onion, roasted red peppers, fresh basil and garlic aioli. Ciabatta elevates any sandwiches to the next level and held true in this case offering a nice crunch to contrast the chicken. The chicken wasn't dry despite being precooked and it did have more than a hint of lime. The components all worked well together and it was unexpectedly much better than anticipated considering my initial experience with La Tapenade.
