富域海家 China Cafe - Chicago, IL

CLOSED 2015.  The restaurant that now occupies this space has a different Chinese name but keeps the English name China Cafe.  Confusing

We stopped a local and asked her for a recommendation.  She said China Cafe was one of the better choices but not a supreme choice.  It opens earlier than the competition.

The Ha Gow skin is thick and the shrimp lacks a fresh snappy bite. The Cheung Fun skin is also thick.  The Shrimp Stuffed Peppers are capable.  The Chicken Feet is a favorite, steamed tender with a spicy savory kick.

For Chinatown, the dim sum should have be much better.
