Surdyk's Flights - Minneapolis St Paul International Airport MSP

CLOSED 12/31/16

The Minneapolis Airport is blessed with a number of restaurants that are a cut above the usual fast food establishments. One of them is Surdyk's Flights that offers sit down options and well as food ready to go.

For a refrigerated to go, I went with the Le Metro consisting of Pate de Champagne (pork, brandy, juniper berries, etc), arugula, pickles, and red onions. This is priced at an airport priced $10. This was a decent sandwich with pate tasting like pate rather than common liver sausage. The pickles provided acidity to balance the heaviness of the pate.

It's was different enough that I would consider dining in if time allowed.

7/1/16, 12:45 PM. When will I learn not to buy refrigerated sandwiches?

This may have been the worst banh mi sandwich I've had with choke dry chicken. The remaining ingredients didn't taste fresh either.
