Just as you know what you're getting when you go to McDonald's, you know what to expect when go to a Hometown Buffet. Lots of carbs, mediocre quality proteins, and weird people. Hometown Buffet is the Walmart of the restaurants. No matter how oddly dressed or unhygienic I am, there's bound to be someone who is dressed weirder, dressed dirtier, or smells worse.
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cheapest meal is breakfast but I think I enjoy their breakfast the most because the quality isn't that far off from a low end diner. Despite my pleas to avoid coming here, once I'm here, I eat without restraint.
