Tonkatsu is a popular dish ubiquitous to the Japanese restaurant scene. With the stiff competition, it's cook well or be cooked.

 

I don't need free refills of cabbage or rice but please feel free to give me more Tonkatsu. It's deep fried goodness without greasiness. How do they achieve this characteristic? The pork is moist and tender. The panko crust is light and a delight. The Tonkatsu sauce adds richness and sweetness. Another yummy good dish.
