Kaboom appears to be a family run restaurant specializing in Korean Fried Chicken and they do it extremely well with scrupulous care. They beat KFC and Popeyes in every aspect except for volume and price.
The 7 piece chicken comes priced at $20. The chicken is made to order. No heat lamps. The result is juicy hot chicken with a super crispy crunchy skin. Salty, sesame sweet, and mildly spicy flavors along with the perfect textures and juiciness combined for an addictive frenzied feed and some of the best fried chicken I've had.
It seems many of the customers are regulars. Kaboom has built itself a fan base and it's easy to understand why. My biggest gripe and it is BIG is the value, the lack of.
