This landmark restaurant has gone by the names of the Post Office and Martha's Vineyard. It's now named Emily after the ghostly young girl that reportedly haunts the building. Or it could be the ghost of customers past who paid too much for a meal.
Turtle Soup. The waitress offered she disliked it because of the heavy handed use of cloves. She was wise to warn of the overdose. On the other hand, where's the turtle?
Veal, Crab and Asparagus. Sautéed veal scaloppini topped with lump crabmeat, asparagus and Prosciutto ham in a brandy and garlic cream sauce. $27.00. It's one of their signature dishes. Neither the veal nor the crab grabbed my attention. Good but not $27 good.
