Boiled Peanuts are the official snack of South Carolina. It doesn't sound appetizing as roasted peanuts but it's got to be decent to get the distinction of state snack.

 

The boiled peanuts were in the refrigerator to maintain its moisture. The soft and salty. I can understand the addiction.  It's a worthy of the title state snack.
