The bean counters must have done ROI calculations to justify keeping Waffle House open 24 hours year round with a skeleton crew of 2 during vampire hours. How did they determine hungover Southerners numbers?
It's a waffle house so order the waffles. Alas, the waffle is equal to what's available at your grocery freezer. Holiday Inn Express waffle machine makes better, fresher, thicker, and hotter waffles.
On the other hand, their breakfast protein entrees are much better than the waffles, sinfully tasty, and comforting, loaded with salt and fat exceeding recommended daily allowances. That's why everyone here is apple shaped.
I was not the only lonely early bird on an earlier visit.
