The old airport is razed.
Terminal 2 Food Court

With limited layover time, I was concerned when I met a long lunch line but the line moved very rapidly. The cashiers were exceptionally efficient and so was the supervisor/manager calling out the orders.
I wasn't expecting much of the gyro, figuring it would be just mediocre airport food made for transient one time customers. But I was wrong about the food.
It was not the most aesthetically appealing gyro I've had but it surprisingly was one of the best I've had in a long time. The grilling of the flat bread to give it a nice brown perimeter and heating it through makes all the difference. The gyro meat itself is savory the way I like it, and amped up for the salt addicted Western palate. This gyro is close to being everything I want in a gyro.
If I'm ever back through SLC, I know where I can get my gyro fix.
