Paul is a nice guy and his demeanor is one of the most pleasant and welcoming I've encountered despite my lowly order. Equally good is the food.

This is the Full Size Order of Mix (beef and potatoes) with the Works.  Spicy and heavy with curry, it's more potent than the pelmeni I've had previously. The sour cream does a magical job of taming the heat. As it is with the Works, it's a kick for the typical Midwest palate.  Ask him to tone it down for you if you don't like heat.

Paul says the pelmeni is made from scratch. I believe him. They have a freshness and softness in texture that's absent in frozen dumplings. Love his passion.

Stop by.  Show Paul some love and order lots of pelmeni. Madison needs more independent small eateries offering something beyond the usual Midwest fare.  Great food and at a great price for Madison.
