Does RD serve the real deal that would satisfy aficionados from the renown US BBQ regions or would the BBQ fool only the Ontarians deprived of Rembrandt pitmasters heavenly smoked proteins for comparison?

Deep South Mix 1/4 Rack Ribs and 1/4 Pulled Pork.  The ribs were slightly smoky but with little infused flavor. The ribs ordered medium spicy certainly needed the sauce to give it flavor. Ribs should stand alone without sauce.  The ribs were nowhere near fall off the bone tender. The pulled pork was better than the ribs but it also fell below expectation for a BBQ joint. It required heavy reliance on the sauce. The pork was moderately tender.

Deep Fried Okra.  The okra per se was acceptable but small. The dipping sauce whatever it's composition was sweet, tart, and with just a hint of heat  made the okra bits addictive.

If this meal is typical, RD's leaves the BBQ spoiled wanting and won't be leading a GTA BBQ movement.
