The news is that Ruby Tuesday as a whole has seen better days, impacted by the economy and the competition. If so, there weren't any visible signs of the distress at this location.
I was looking for lighter, healthier fare after days of heavy eating. Chicken Bella according to their menu was a lower calorie entree, comprising sautéed baby portabella mushrooms and artichokes in a Parmesan cream sauce over a grilled chicken breast with a side of zucchini. It appeared like a regurgitated mess but the chicken was surprisingly decent. The zucchini was nicely grilled if somewhat watery.
Ruby Tuesday wasn't bad but it didn't stand out. When there are so much competition and choices, the competition demands a restaurant to stand out.
