The local restaurants at which the locals eat take only pesos. Time was running short so La Via Olimpo for tourists it was, a block away from tourist information.
Panuchos in forefront and Salbutes in rear. Panuchos has refried beans.
Olimpo is for tourists but regardless the food was great. The ingredients were fresh and lively. It didn't have the zing as I expected but then I never had the subtle spices and flavors on the chicken like this in the States.
The restaurant appeared understaffed however the waiter was excellent, undoubtedly had the best attitude of any waiter I've encountered. He was patient, humble server who tried to meet needs not to curry a big tip but because it appeared to be in his nature to do so. In hindsight, I wish I left him a bigger tip.
