Ruby's marketing is a reason, not the only reason, why they are a bit player in a market dominated by In-N-Out burgers because they're actually quite similar.
Double Deluxe Burger. The big difference between Ruby's and In-N-Out is that Thousand Island Dressing based spread that In-N-Out uses. Another difference the Ruby bun has a little more substance and is less airy than In-N-Out burger, better able to hold together to the last bite. Other than that, my taste buds say they're the same.
It's airport food so it's an overpriced $10 but then LAX sucks for restaurants. Come on, why do you make B-Lister celebrities ingest poor food? Haven't they suffered enough?
