Northpoint Custard - General Mitchell International Airport MKE

CLOSED 2020(?)

Main Terminal Pre-Security

Northpoint serves traditional breakfast during the mornings. I asked if they served burgers now which to my surprise the answer was yes. It's not that I make a point to eat burgers at airports but this was the best burger I've had at an airport to date. I've shelled out three times as much for an airport burger that wasn't as good as Northpoint's.

Cheeseburger. The fresh Sciortino roll was a definite winner with its ciabatta like texture. The cheddar cheese was properly melted. The 1/4 in. frozen patty was char grilled before me with care, at least this morning it was as I watched the cook work. The Northpoint sauce was the tangy magic melding all the lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, and pickles together. Price: $4.67 - cheap for an airport and with this quality. Rating: 8.9

It was a surprising unexpected delight to get the day started right.
