3/28/13, 12 PM. Big Boy's was the first "real" burger I had. The Big Boy Classic Burger was unlike any burger I had up to that point. Everything about it was perfect to a kid. Fresh, hot, juicy, tangy. I couldn't wait for the next time. Alas the return never equaled the first. And with time, the Big Boy closed down. Today Big Boy has faded from the fast food landscape in most of the country.
The Classic. The burger was cooked hot off the grill. This sets it apart from the competition. The Classic tastes with its Thousand Island special sauce tastes like a McDonald's Big Mac or more correctly, the Big Mac tastes like a Big Boy. Only the Big Boy is big step above the Big Mac.
12/22/12 Chili Cheese Fries. Hot, filling, comforting, addictive. This could have served as a complete meal.
