Sora Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar - Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport DTW

Terminal A

Asian customers packed in imparted a belief of turnover and confidence to order raw. I settled on the Great Lake Roll ($18.00) comprising of tuna (raw), white tuna (raw), salmon (raw), cucumber, green bean, avocado, cucumber, topped with masago.

The food was assembled with meticulous precision. The combination of tastes was subtle and balanced with no particular flavor overpowering the others. Textures also combined for a perfect marriage. One bite into a roll and the tensions of the workday melted away.

8/2/13 Ramen with gyoza.  The ramen fad is in full force. The gyoza was tasty but stingy.  More protein please. It's an otherwise flavor filled bowl of goodness.

8/9/15, 9:35AM. Soba.Order this only if you're a light eater. Everything I've tried to date at Sora has been good to very good. It's also expensive. They stick it to us. Sora jacks up the street price to make a tidy profit.
