On this evening of uncommon heavy rain, the voluminous Marie is nearly deserted. It's adjacent to the Holiday Inn yet I see barely any hotel guests here.

This restaurant as a whole has the least attractive and out of shape wait staff I've seen in  a long time.

Chicken and Grilled Shrimp. The Danny Trejo lookalike cook brings the food to the table 15 minutes after the order is put in.  It looks like he has seen some prison time.  The food comes out steaming hot and the chicken is cooked through yet moist. The shrimp is cooked a little more than I would like, missing the snap, but still more than acceptable. The veggies needed a little more time cooking.

Overall I like this preparation and better than I anticipated.
