Fried Chicken. I haven't had enough soul food fried chicken to draw a conclusion but it seems there is a certain style to making it and they end up tasting similar.
Cora Faye's fried chicken tastes almost identical to The Blazing Chicken Shack II. Set me up in a blind taste taste with these two preparations and I can't tell which is which. The chicken has a familiar slight hint of burnt oil taste, fully rendered chicken skin, and almost unseasoned core. The chicken is decent enough but this dish does not garnish national exposure. Maybe the rabbit does but not the chicken. 3 stars.
