Delis need to offer sandwiches a cut above Subway and/or they need to be different that customers will seek them out. How does Dexter do?
Steak, Mushroom, Provolone. The bread is crunchy, fresh, and the most enjoyable part of the sandwich. I like the quantity of steak offered but I dislike that it doesn't taste like real steak but processed deli meat. The provolone falls into the background. The mushrooms need to be cooked until soft and sweet. The onions need to sliced into strips rather than chopped into cubes and they need to be cooked to lose its raw sting.
