Location, location, location is the name of the game and this bakery doesn't have game. You either know this bakery's location and make a deliberate effort to trek here or you find it while you're lost. I fell into the latter category.
The displays are low key and filled with the basic traditional doughnuts. No gourmet doughnuts, no happening doughnuts of the moment. The Glazed Old Fashion and the Apple Fritter are both good renditions nudging into the bottom of the very good category. For the money, I don't have any complaints. The ladies behind the counter could be more knowledgeable, customer oriented, and sociable and attempt to direct first time customers toward best sellers.
