If you're looking for conservative western food in the otherwise heavily leaning Indian Caribbean Middle East Brampton food landscape, Wimpy's is your oasis.
Wimpy's Chicken Shishkabob. Wimpy's menu says it comprises "Juicy chunks of grilled chicken breast, sautéed with peppers, Spanish onions and tomatoes. Served with a Greek salad, your choice of potatoes or rice, a slice of lemon and tzatziki sauce." This is solid basic meal with nothing spectacular and hitting but not tickling the proper notes. It's what you would expect in Greek tasting food except is more conservative. The cook is able but he's a cook and if he's a chef, he's restricted in freedom of cooking expression.
The waitress is a gregarious seasoned pro.
