The family of buffets has fallen on hard times, a shadow of its former self. The quality and quantity of food has dropped precipitously from its glory days. The selection is limited and the quality is a notch above school cafeteria food.
The best item and one that would rate good by most is the baked chicken. Cooked through yet still tender and well seasoned to the core. The remaining hot foods are bland. I reached fullness but not satiety.
The place looks dirty and unkempt. The unenthusiastic staff hardly puts in an effort to keep the tables clear and clean. I can't predict how much longer the lone remaining HomeTown Buffet in Wisconsin will last, but I suspect it's running parallel with Sears.
