This is my first time walking through the doors of a Steak n' Shake, and I have little idea of what to expect. What I didn't expect was a forced sit down, but counter order like the Big Three.
Cajun Double Burger. Light airy bun, old school patties, overflowing with flavor. It was on the smallish side but sufficient. I enjoyed it but wondered about hygiene practices. It doesn't seem like hygiene is a top priority.
Decent if slow service. The tables have a greasy film that can be viewed at an angle.
