A break from the usual.

Cha Gio. They use a different skin than I am accustomed to. It's a little fluffier and less fulfilling. The filling is sparse. It falls short of par.

Grill pork chops. A subpar restaurant preparation of this Vietnamese standard.  Nothing wrong but it didn’t have a deep grilled taste nor was it infused to the core with bright sweet and savory flavors.  The skills of the cook were more average home prepared by someone who really doesn't cook rather than someone passionate about the art.

I'm game for better.
