No, it's not Texas BBQ good but it's GTA BBQ good. I was beginning to wonder if it would be possible to find good BBQ north of the US border. BriSkit represents Canada well.
Brisket needs to be cut thicker for the true test. It was sliced more like pot roast rather than brisket. It lacked a nice smoke ring and smokiness but it was so tender, moist, and flavorful stacked on a fresh spongy chewy roll. As good as the brisket was, the hand cut fries were better, among the best I've had. Hot, crunchy, with a moderately soft exterior.
