The A&W stands are frequent sights at shopping malls and airports. It's the typical counter order fast food model. So it was to my surprise that when I entered this A&W that I was told to take a table to be waited upon.
Double Cheeseburger and Fries. It was made to order, fresh, and certainly better than the microwaved Clown and King but it didn't distinguish itself from all the joints hot to sell you their interpretation of a burger. The local customers that packed this place may otherwise disagree with my assessment but then they didn't look the kind to eat haute.
The A&W root beer in a frosted glass hit the nostalgic spot.
