TV Exposure: Food Paradise
The Pork Sandwich is near the best American BBQ pork sandwich I've had to date.
I say near best because the pork shoulder isn't richly marbled but that's no fault of The Pig but the fault of the pig. A fantastic sturdy bun houses sliced chunks of rich, intensely smoky, flavorful dense pork.
The collard greens served beats Screen door's output. Rich, complex, porky savory flavor deeply infused after much time slowly stewing in liquor.
I wish Pig served kid sized portions so I would have had room for the chicken sandwich which has a reputation of excellence. Outstanding job Pig! 4.5 stars.
