What: smallwares is a most apropos name as the dishes are exactly that yet prices seem to vary inversely with the size. Small delicious flavor packed "inauthentic Asian" tapas sized dishes for sharing yet you'll wish you had a sugar daddy bankrolling all the dishes needed to fill your stomach.
Squid salad. One of the evening specials. I have to say smallwares is not only creative but also knows how to prepare creative dishes well. The salad overflowed with soy sauce umami yet remained light and refreshing and inciting my palate for more eats. The squid mixed with the greens made for a pleasant mouthfeel.
Fried Kale. Who knew fried kale could be so delicious?
Bottom Line: The real deal but expensive
