Garcia's was recommended by a local as one of the better restaurants in a town where the restaurant selection is limited. It's relative. Inside Garcia's looked older than the exterior and emitted a slightly unhygienic vibe.
The second impression: The waitress/cashier/host taking care of a customer paying yelled at at us, "Didn't you hear me? I said you can take a seat anywhere." No, we didn't, be-otch!
Steak and Shrimp. It was a neutral meal more sustenance than enjoyment. It was decent and there was nothing wrong with it but it was just there, certainly not made with love. Garcia's is what happens when you don't have competition but prey on the hapless looking for eats on the main drag.
Service was abrupt gum snapping Jersey.
