Driving along State Rd 26, we saw nothing but chain restaurants so we continued hoping to find an independent. We stopped in Grindstone Charley's not recognizing the name but believing it to be an independent but as it turned out, it is a regional chain.
82 Country Fried Steak. It's one of the unhealthiest dishes offered with fat and salt but that's what makes it so appealing. The country fried steak was satisfying but it didn't distinguish itself from other CFS I've had. For comparison it was a slight step above the Old Country Buffet country fried steaks. 3 stars.
