Taco Bus is bus plus. The bus is in the back invisible from the street. The first time at O' dark hundred here is confusing with no bodies to be seen and with 4 spots to go. Most prominent are two buildings and then a backside trailer and the titular bus.
Despite the Open sign, the building was locked. The bus door was open but the ordering windows closed. This left the backside trailer open.
Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo. The burrito was made to order and huge at about 3/4 lbs if not more. It was also a low cost $4.99. The middle was scorching hot gooey but delicious mess with a pleasant easy mouthfeel. The tortilla was fresh. The components all worked well. It was on the flat side but that was easily addressed with two accompanying salsas. I flip flopped between the two equally fiery concoctions. The verde salsa had a tinny bitter end note. The red salsa had a sweet end note and that's what I eventually settled on. The burrito would have been more comforting on a cold winter day.
If this burrito was representative of Taco Bus, count me won over.
