Kelsey's appears as a Canadian Applebee's, mainstream safe but popular food made for the masses with elevated prices. Looking at the menu only reinforced that perception.

Messy Brisket Sandwich. Better than anticipated but pricey. Tender, sweet, tart, good mouthfeel. It lived up to its namesake messy.

The corn chowder was as good if not even better. I typically don't like corn chowder but this one had me wishing for the recipe. It had  more ingredients than typical. If it weren't labeled as corn chowder I would have thought it to be a heavy Mexican soup. Hearty, satisfying, filling.

Kelsey's is better than Applebee's.

6/17/15. El Cuban Reuben and Thai It You'll Like It Chicken Soup. My first visit at Kelsey's wasn't a fluke. Both items were fantastic delicious. Comforting, hot, greasy, savory.  It's everything bad that make them taste so good.

Super Messy Fish Sandwich.  They change menu items as much as I change my underwear. So here was an attempt to eat healthier. I don't know if it was healthier because it tasted so good.
