Pancake Farm is open early morning and it packs them in. I'm told Saturday is the busiest with about 500 customers. On this weekday there were a lot of customers also, mostly seniors who have time to burn. Service is retirement age slow if friendly.
The breakfast special consisted of one egg and 3 pancakes. I had to order something that included pancakes, after all that is its namesake. Unfortunately the pancakes are typical pancakes served at most any other breakfast diner. The pancakes are larger than typical but it has the same dry texture that sponges the last drop of saliva. It has to be drowned with maple syrup-assumed artificial - to chew through and swallow each bite. This is not to say it is bad but pedestrian.
