Happiness Thai Buffet – Helsinki, Finland

CLOSED

Kaisaniemi Metro station. Yes, this is located in part of the metro network and quite a few folks are dining here.

Despite buffets being fairly common here, very few people around here are obese unlike the US.

I don’t know if it’s European custom but at this restaurant the customers went back to the buffet line with the dirty plate. We distinguished ourselves by leaving dirty plates on the table and getting a clean plate each time.

This was fairly decent Thai food. Nothing spectacular but filling enough and a lot better than many of the buffets stateside. With dining costly in Finland, a buffet like this at about 8 euro helps ease the pain to the wallet. Drinks are extra. I didn’t check the price but a can of soda goes for 2.50 to 4 euros in a restaurant.
